Much more powerful than that weak sauce, too. PS5 Pro still can't do 4K@60Hz with newer games. 😂
And a 4060 8gb will? Maybe with fsr or dlss or 1/2 render.

It's 200 more …1TB less with a GPU that is supposedly less powerful.

No it's not, Costo deal is $50 cheaper, and comes with double RAM and double SSD capacity, also 2 years warranty and 90 days return policy.

Performance wise, if you're going to compare NVIDIA to NVIDIA, the Pro is about the same performance as between an overclocked 3060 Ti and a base 3070. You can buy a 2022 3070 Ti rig for $700 on Facebook or a micro center sell off that would blow the Pro out of the water still. Not to say the Pro is a bad deal, but it's nothing groundbreaking when you remember that it's JUST a gaming console and nothing more.

No. The base PS5 performs less than a 3060's performance. The Series X barely performs above a 3060 level. What are you on?

For sure, back in 2020 PS5 was an insane deal, you couldnt build a PC at the same price point, back then not everyone was even using SSDs apart from their boot drive. Over the years the value has gotten lesser BUT its still an ok value. Now at $700, the PS5 Pro is not that same insane deal anymore, its just ok, and sure it could have been just a little bit cheaper or including the drive for the price but if they want to make profit per unit its fine, its not outrageously priced. Now the pro still has a 2TB SSD its not nothing but its approaching the price point where people might consider spending a little more and building a system that they could upgrade at their own pace BUT still you have to take into account that consoles are still way superior in the living room, you dont have to have the expertise to build a system.

I have a beast PC and i use that as a console nothing more, i have other devices for daily tasks. I had both the PS5 and Series X sold them both to build the PC and i did plan to get the PS5 Pro but i do have doubts now, should i just spend that money on upgrading my GPU when the next gen is out ....
