Please don't laugh - would the Lite bibs be overkill for fishing the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY from the shore the fall? My husband needs a new pair of bibs - I think his are regular neoprene - but it seems that a new pair of those would cost what these will after discount so I thought I'd surprise him. However, I don't want him looking silly. Thanks for any input.

Amazing deal if you ice fish or cold water winter fish. Didn't expect to see this on here. Got the regular warmer predators to upgrade from my old striker gear.

If his current are Neoprene, that makes me think they are waders? These are made for ice fishing but here in MN we wear them in the boat late fall or early spring if cold- 35-45 degrees. The lite ones would work great for shore fishing in the cold, but they wouldn't replace waders- if that's what he current has.

Thank you so much, that's exactly what I needed to know. I read through reviews and did some research but still wasn't sure. I appreciate your help.

Would these be good enough for when the temps are in the teens or below? Early to mid twenties?

Looking at the lineup but I'm wondering if the "lite" is going to be warm enough? Anyone have experience with their products & can advise? Thanks!

Yep. I always see killer deals on this stuff at the end of ice season but am always reluctant to buy because of the fit issue and the lack of easy returns.

Im not an ice fisherman, but these would probably be perfect for snowblowing and the like. I don't generally get very cold, having worn just longjohns and jeans while sledding and such. These would be an upgrade.

Buy the regular predator bibs with the code for $100. Or the classic gray predators for 80.
