Verizon Save $1,000 With phone trade-in. Any condition guaranteed.
With Unlimited Ultimate. Smartphone trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply.

Seems to be a good deal for those with some old non-working phones laying around as most carriers require trade-in with a working phone of more recent models to get full trade-in credit.

$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new or upgrade smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate plan (min. $90/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos.; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. For upgrades, phone must be active on account for 60 days prior to trade in. Smartphone trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply.

Yes – that is my understanding. Verizon is locking you into a three-year commitment at their highest cost Unlimited plan to recoup the $1000 bill credit.

If you are going to stay with Verizon, need a new phone, and can take advantage of the unlimited ultimate perks, this seems like a reasonable deal.

I talked to rep at store and she said yes but just need to be able to get the IMEI number.

I have 2 old phones that can't even be turned on, a 4s and a 6s plus but I still have the box with the IMEI number on it. Ran the check on their online trade-in verification and both passed.

Yes the 3 year lock-in is probably the biggest consideration but I usually hear Verizon has good service and coverage is much better where I live.

I was locked in with t-mobile for almost 3 years (30 months). With the way Apple is evolving their phones now, it does seem there is a need to upgrade often now. My 13 pro max still working fine with like 90% functionalities of the latest phones. T-Mobile will not give you any device discount unless you upgrade to their more expensive plans with costs comparable to the Verizon plans now so I am really tempted to jump ship now.

I have an old iPhone 5s, which - when you estimate the trade-in, the trade-in value is $0. so don't think it's any old phone.

really? did you enter in the IMEI #? I entered iPhone 5s, in good condition. It didn't even ask for an IMEI, just said trade in is $0.

Plus fees and taxes (every month), closer to $4500-5000 over 3 years.
