It is not unlocked.

Even if you pay full price up front that doesn't mean they will unlock it for you immediately.
OP's link doesn't even show the deal!

The only place to get Apple unlocked phones up front are Apple stores.

Phone must be bought outright. Boost's unlocking policy is to unlock once financing period is over - which there is no period if it's paid for up front.

Prices above are not for $25 free plan. To get that, you've to pay full (eg 1099 for iPhone 15 pro 256). Not a good deal. As there are others giving direct rebate of $300 in 3 months with cheap plan and no commitment.

Which ones, this seems comparable, 12x 25 is 300, just bundles the plan in.

Used their online chat to ask about unlocking policy if you pay up front for the iPhone 16 for the free year of service. They said they'll unlock only after 12 months.
