Folks, with new AMD and new Intel mobile gen 2 chips releasing as we speak, the last Gen (only 6 months old actually) will be plummeting as the new chips are VASTLY improved! 95% of these posts lately are NOT deals. The competition is unlike ever before in the PC space. You will regret buying at these prices in a matter of a month or 2.

oh, this is the XPS that doesn't have physical function buttons(including esc key) and headphone jack..

edit: this XPS 14 does have a headphone jack, and XPS 13 is the one that doesn't even have a headphone jack

Good deal for this config. Just for fun, upgrade the 16GB RAM to 64GB. Make sure you're sitting down...

With Luna Lake refresh coming up very soon, why would anyone spend $1000 buy this outdated model?

Won't the new models based on the refreshed CPU be full price whereas this is significantly discounted? I think for many, a small CPU bump isn't going to make a difference. Or, is the Lunar Lake some type of revolutionary leap forward?

Luna Lake is made on TSMC's 3nm process, so at least on par with Apple M3 in terms of performance per watt. The current Core Ultra was made by Intel's own 7-nm fabrication if I'm not mistaken

I've been buying XPS since the initial launch of the 13" model. I'm looking at other options, and have short listed an LG Gram 16" OLED 2-in-1 and the new Microsoft 15" Surface laptop. Open to suggestions.

Holy overpriced POS laptop... $900 for a gpu?? This line has been trouble for 10+years. Go get anything on slicks with a 155H for $4-500 less... some have gpu. $1500 for ram upgrade? Dell never learns.... guess gotta make up $ for all the severance they are paying out.

I just got my XPS 17 about 5 months ago. I will be looking at other options in 3 years. No more XPS for me.

Vast. And they'll price wars and lack of sales will keep discounts going even on new gen. If however you find REAL deals on current gen (ie sub 500-600)then maybe

Off Brand??? Dell has been putting out top tier laptops for a long time, not sure I would consider them"off brand." Thankfully they don't have that hideous notch 🙌😁
It's a joke really - I just think it's funny that Windows users might want a Macbook clone with no ports.

But what do I know, maybe these sell well.
