This reviewer found it to have a 90w TGP GPU, 2x M.2 SSD slots, and 2x RAM slots

I have this one with 32gb ram, it is a bit heavy with about 5 pounds(2.5kg) of weight. The 4060 is a studio version which uses nvidia studio gpu driver, it comes with a hp 200w brick charger, type c charging only works when the laptop is turned off. But overall I am very satified with this laptop, the build quality is superp.

I don't think you understand the category of laptop this one belongs to and the one you referred. In very simple words, if you require this specific category of laptop, the other one, no matter what the price is, can't fulfill that role.

Build quality on these are amazing but if you open it up to upgrade the drives or ram, be extremely careful or else it won't fit back together right.

Seems like manufacturers go OUT OF THEIR WAY to make taking the back/bottom a painfully impossible task. Why? Dell XPS for one. Lately, the backs are so solidly attached one has to fight to get the back off.

What happened to the good ol' days of having a 1 screw trap door to access RAM or HDD?

Would you consider the 16gb of ram to be a dealbreaker? (I mean obviously you sprung for more, just asking for your gut feel.)

I got a pretty good deal with my 32gb one(less than $900), but 16gb should be enough in most cases. If you really need 32gb ram, you can easily sell the original 16gb rams for about $60-$70 and buy 32gb rams(it has two ram slots).

I have this model with i9 and 16GB. Got it open box in February and traded in my old Surface Laptop 3 15-inch. Really happy with it.
I wanted to upgrade it to 32GB and add a second SSD but never got to do it. Surprisingly 16GB is handling my tasks well with 2 VMs running in Workstation Pro, around 20 Chrome tabs, Pycharm and office apps.
Fan is loud under the load. I tried editing a short video and exporting it in 1080p and the thing turned into a hair dryer. i9-13900H might be an overkill for this chassis and I would have gotten the i7 version if it was available at the time.
The screen is very good. 16-inch WQXGA has the same default scaling as my 4K 28-inch Samsung monitor. I finally have a setup where my windows do not rescale when dragging them between monitors.
It feels heavy if I have to carry it, which is pretty rare. Overall I like it and would recommend
