How well would this system work on a game whose minimum specs are for an Intel core I7 6000k and recommended specs are an Intel core I7 10700k?

Looks much better from what I can see.

This system absolutely crushes those CPUs, and the GPU is the latest generation, so it will play any game fine. You'll have no problems playing whatever youre trying to play, as this definitely far surpasses the minimum specs.

Really ought to knock that out of the park. 6000 generation Intel chips are really getting up there in age, and iirc Intel's biggest jump in the performance for the past few years was 10000 series to 11000 series.

Is a machine like this overkill for home office use if you don't game much? Price seems reasonable but a little more memory would prob be good too. If this had a 1T drive I would be all over it.

This is total overkill for home office use. I would find one of those micro/mini PC deals for that. Even the N100 ones will work perfect for home office use.

Nothing really knocks it out of the park when it comes to Microsoft Flight simulator.

We all know the limitations of an 8GB video card but this is still a great price for 1080p gaming.

I hardly ever use my Xbox Series X. Considering trading it in and just getting this.

well yeah, that is an exceptionally taxing game. why did you ask if you knew the answer lol

that said, should not have any issues running 60 fps high settings 1080p, at minimum. My father plays that game on a 3070 ryzen 5 system from a few years ago with no issues.

Discount code LENOVOFLASHWKD did not work. However, this is still a great deal. Please note RAM speeds are slower than most gaming PCs 4800MHz rather 5200MHz. The case is also smaller, reducing ability to upgrade to larger GPU's. But as is, this is great device for Mid-range gaming.

FYI, I just got mine, and it is a single stick of RAM. Duel-channel is best for performance.
It is also very small! Not much room for upgrades. In my 30 second review. Space to add a full size hard drive. 1 more stick of RAM for duel channel (2 total). No extra PCI slots. Even though there is 2 slots on the case it self, the motherboard is cuts short.

The only thing that annoys me is the single channel RAM.

Short answer: yes.

FWIW, I just bought one of these eBay refurbished w/2yr warranty for under $600. Seller is BuyRefurbishedUS.
