I don't understand these comments. I believe it happens from time-to-time, but I have 6 controllers (2 x 1st Gen Xbox One, 2 x 2nd Gen Xbox One, and 2 x Xbox Series) and none of them have drift. For $37, just go for it.
Ok, so this is a newb question but... do they not include the new xbox controller battery and usb-c cable with this? I see there's a separate page for controller with cable[lenovo.com] and that's $50!
On official microsoft store too, I see there's one page for just controller[microsoft.com] and another page for controller + cable[microsoft.com]; but in this case, both are priced $60! What gives? Why would anyone buy only controller if they can also get the cable for the same price?

I got this deal last week and it comes with a pair of AA batteries just like every other xbox controller.
Two things about the cable.. (1) it pairs wireless to your xbox so you don't need a cable, and (2) most people already have stacks of cables and don't necessarily need another one

I game on my PC, sitting on the chair at the desk. So, I like to connect the controller to the PC with the wire. No battery recharging headache. Would any USB-C cable work with this?
Killer deal if you're looking for a Xbox controller. If you're looking for a controller for pc use, I suggest saving up for the a hall effect controller. These get stick drift over time.

Same, I have yet to experience stick drift but this comment always comes up

I dunno what to tell ya. I play VERY rarely on my xbox. I have a black day one controller that came with the Series X and that one is still working just fine. I bought a red one 8 months ago, used it maybe 12 times in 8 months. It drifts to the left very often, where I can even let go of the stick and it keeps going left. Why one and not the other? who knows. Who does a 40$ controller, not have hall sticks, when the 8bitdo 2c does, for $30? no idea.

You would need a mini USB cable.
