What am I seeing here. It looks like a kids toy, I just can't think of what it reminds me of. Anyone else see it? Maybe like a tonka truck or something ?
I always think the same thing when I see this at Costco. It reminds me of that small ride on toy for toddlers. This pic isn't correct I'm linking but it's something like this

Transfer switch, reliance 6 circuit. See other reply for what I run on it. Its a fantastic setup for 1/6 the price of a whole house generac etc to cover the essentials and get through events.
Thanks, I checked your other reply and have been checking out the Reliance. Am I correct that when the switch is activated the breakers on the Reliance effectively replace the breakers in the main panel? I'm asking because many of my circuits (fridge for example) have 20A breakers and the Reliance comes with mostly 15A breakers.

I bought this last year and it was a champ during 2 disasters we went through. This last one was with Hurricane Beryl and we were without power for about a week and this really helped us.

Yeah I have Model# 306CRK for the switch and the 15 breakers work just fine with our appliances (also have 20's in my main)

Switch is not activated automatically. The TLDR- Go outside, fire up genny, warm it up a minute - Plug included reliance cord + Parkworld 885446 NEMA TT-30P to L14-30R 30 Amp Generator Adapter into the female outdoor outlet box

Come back inside near your panel/switch, slowly flip from "line" to "Gen" on the switch and the loads transfer over.
(Power comes back on, apocalypse aside, then simply switch slowly back to line on the switch)

Pro tips: I leave a light on in a room thats not on the generator so when power comes back, I know right away. I also run the genny in "regular" mode for the first 30 min to warm it up/allow the fridges to come back to temp etc. then kick to eco mode for the rest.

Purchase list for future references:
Parkworld 885446 NEMA TT-30P to L14-30R 30 Amp Generator Adapter
Model# 306CRK
(Optional) longer cord to get further from house

Would you recommend the one you posted or the one thats $30 more? thanks
Without question , go with the one that is thirty dollars more. You get the ability to run propane, Electric start and more power for thirty measily dollars. Normally a generator with those features would be a couple hundred more. Even if you have no desire to run propane the other features are easily worth the minimal extra cost. Plus you might change your mind later. When I bought mine I had no desire to use propane, now it's all I use.

I bought this last year. Used it about 10 hours, every few months. It started leaking gas into the air filter after sitting in the garage unused for a month. Wouldn't buy it again. Allstate honored the warranty though.

I keep getting the error that the code has already been used when I haven't used the code. Anyone else having issues?
Update, called Ebay. There is an issue with the code. Not sure if it is impacting every user but they are aware of an issue

You can link gas generators in series to combine their output ?
They should be equal in wattages or pretty close to it. But both must be a inverter type of generator

Great deal! I spent almost this much on 3200 gas only last year. Smh Frown Similar sale, It came in pretty good shape (refurbished) I did have an issue with the recoil but Firman customer service was top notch and sent me the replacement parts I needed free of charge! I'd recommend…
Same story with me.

Thank you for the data! I know there's figures online and in the manual.

Sorry but what do you mean by emptying the carbs?

Also how "long" can you store the gasoline with fuel treatment?
Emptying the carbs means draining out the gas sitting in the carburetor. It's not wise to store gas with ethanol in a generator bc the gaskets will degrade and leak fuel.

If you are not using ethanol free gas then your generator will leak gas. Same thing happened to my Champion generator. It's best to drain the tank and carb when storing

With coupon and taxes the total (for me) came out to $344.16 shipped. Seems like a good deal considering this is a refurb unit and these are a little under $1K new from Firman.
My guess it the vast majority of refurbing is carb related or extreme cases where stator was replaced (?)

Also, what is the "F" designation in the model number? Google returned no results for WH03242F - is that a "rebuilt" designation maybe?
"F"actory perhaps

These Firman refurbs are hit or miss. The unit I received worked great for an hour. Tried to start it a week or so later. No dice. Calling Firman was pointless. I think they go out of their way to dire rude technical support. Ended up getting my money back by filing a claim with Square D. Avoid refurbs in general and Firman specifically. Spend a few dollars more and buy a new generator. I will do so in a month or so when they go on sale for Black Friday.
