They only auto upgrade to 4k if purchased direct from apple, these are from Amazon, so will stay HD when ported to apple

You're not wrong, but he's not wrong either. Video compression is pretty decent these days so you may not notice as much difference over streaming anymore, but you will notice on the audio. Compression there for streaming vs on a disc makes a huge difference.

4k is not really 4k when streamed since it's getting compressed, physical disk has better quality

I Wonder about the digital: when the films get remastered for example things are added, and people start shooting 2nd that used to shoot first, will the digital access change or will you still have access to the original content?

Almost tricked me into immediately buying this lol nah not doing this for HD and definitely not doing this via via Amazon they never do complimentary 4K upgrades, Fandango/Vudu will occasionally do that Itunes does it as well. fark Amazon

The 2019 release is over 5 hours long, I wonder if I'm forced to watch the extended version only. Revenge of the Sith is 8 hours. Not sure I'll ever watch these versions.
