I just bought my second set. I wanted two of the locomotives (either one on each end, or one after the other). Not for $200 though LOL. I saw this price earlier today and ordered immediately. Used the 30% off (max $30, in my case) Amex deal to get it for $137.76 all-in. I should have posted the deal lol. I didn't see it posted. Would have been my first. Oh well.

Is it in your budget? If yes, --> DO IT. You can always return, with the insane return policies we have in this country.

If it's not in the budget, then please don't do it. Save your money. Build up emergency fund, etc. Come back at some point, it'll still be here. Estimated retirement, according to BrickEconomy, is mid-2026.

The BrickEconomy and BrickLink referral feces links are BROKEN. They have "1153" appended to them LMAO. Too busy scrambling to get that referral money to put a URL together correctly. 1153 is the number of PIECES. The set number is 60336. I guess there's no QA lol 🙄.

"All the time"? I think it's probably every few years. Maybe every 2-3 years?

Can you operate more than one train? I recall managing several autonomous battery powered engines going at different speeds with switches and "passing lanes" the Thomas the tank engine sets from tomaco was way more fun than it should have been. I can't imagine the Lego ones with remote controls.

Sorry, fixed the links.
I do not think those links are referral. I added them long ago with my code to help community members learn more about particular set and decide on the quality of the deal.
It seems there is a bug in my code. Sorry for inconvenience.

WELL! I stand corrected, and I apologize! My mistake.

I saw "go.redirectingat.com" and assumed they were referral links.

Thanks for fixing the links, phoinix, and thanks for posting the deal.

I'll take a shot. I'm passing on this one cause I'm only interested in North American looking trains. Not the euro stuff. They used to have a set with a locomotive that looked like an EMD GP.

Can you connect this with the passenger train set? Would be fun to control both on one rail.
