Purchased device and paid off phone using same method it has always been for these Walmart Verizon deals. Purchased phone, make sure to save documents containing phone number and information from Walmart. Then create Verizon account before phone has arrived by using the phone number from the saved documents + pin used during purchase, proceed to verify by email. Then immediately pay phone off by calling Verizons 800 number with a different phone. Once phone is paid off simply cancel line. Done refunded activation fee, prorated service and an unlocked Iphone in 60 days. Worst case scenario is you have to cough up $35 activation fee if you mess it up.
Anyone claiming otherwise is not versed in these deals, and didn't take the time to simply look up one of OPs 10+ other similar threads.

I feel as though an iPhone 13 128 GB at $200 for the phone is a better deal than the iPhone 14 at $400. But I also don't want to miss out on the opportunity to get a 13 if they are all out of stock within reasonable driving distance.
Any recommendations from the experienced deal hunters at SD?

The only reason I'm not jumping on this one is the notch that bothers me more than it should.

I don't know if it's a worthwhile deal in your opinion, but it is discounted, FWIW.
