i agree good deal, ill probably order one. it is the UAE version , fyi
To try and cater to the old school 2D game fans, Zelda will have a "Sword meter," think similar but opposite to Links's Magic Meter in A Link to the Past. It will be upgradable and by the endgame I'd imagine you would be able to stay in sword fighting form for a pretty significant amount of time.

Not sure if you knew or cared but I would check out some reviews before disregarding the game completely. Personally I'm hoping it'll bring back a large chunk of the old Zelda formula.
No usually the same I just wanted to make note of it cause collectors usually want the USA version

Other than having a nice thick fresh plastic clamshell, does the UAE part affect anything? Still play the same?

gotcha, thanks. I got the email this morning and actually passed on it because of the UAE thing, but I'm glad I did because I think I actually preordered it from bestbuy. ha

Updates aren't region locked. Most 1st party Nintendo games don't even get updates, regardless. Probably because they often get sat on for a year after they're done making them before actually releasing, lol.

I think I'll be passing on this game...yes you can all jump on me now for complaining and call me sexist or whatever. It's not that you play as Zelda...I think that's a great idea. Just boils down to the fact you don't fight with a sword and a shield. I didn't like having to use all of that nonsense in Tears of the Kingdom either. I'm old and set in my ways. Just give me a sword, shield, boomerang, a raft, bombs, lanterns, and a ton of dungeons and I'll be happy.

Slashing with a sword has always been the most boring part of a Zelda game, lol...

I know you are just trying to be funny...and it is kinda funny. But, over the last several years I have really begun to actually think about why our lives are so good (albeit some better than others) while others live in both poverty and misery. It really is a travesty. I often feel a sense of guilt over what I have (and I'm barely middle class) while others suffer and do without even the basics. I think I've always thought about things like these, even as a kid ..but the older I get...the worse I feel about it. So, I'm not writing this to bash you or lecture you..as I can see the humor. But really, I implore you to take a few minutes and reflect on what you have and what others don't have. And if you have the means, help as many as you can. Nearly everyone can help a little. God Bless.
It was only 50% joke, the other 50% was a criticism of UAE treatment of migrant workers
