I paid $1500 for an hp omen a few months ago. Had 7900x and rtx 4080. There was a slight buzz the video card made at idle so I asked for replacement from HP. They sent me an rtx 4080 SUPER as replacement. The performance is identical btw. Maybe lost a hundred points in time spy. But it's quieter. The card looks 100% identical.

Yeah it's not 100% relevant just showing what you can get But most of the 4080 deals are $2000 or less for a more well known brand so this is not a good deal. More like normal price.

I also would not buy a 14900k or 13900k system unless it has a major discount. Intel has admitted they will go bad eventually, especially at the power levels these gaming PCs utilize.

All these Intel PCs are dropping prices like flies. Must be because of the defective Intel CPU scandal.

Everyone and their mothers want to offload their Intel inventory before the masses find out it's crap.
