Let's go! Finally a deal on a quality bass guitar, and not just the cheap beginner stuff.

Big fan of the Ibanez EHB line; they play great even if they look funky. I just really wish they offered a 4-string multiscale in the series.

I picked up the 1006MS a few months ago, paid $1k for a floor model that was basically untouched. I am loving it so far. The MS was certainly an adjustment, but it makes string tension and tone more balanced and appealing for sure. The physical weight, length, and balance for being a 6-string is absolutely bonkers-level amazing. I think the T1 pickups sound even better than the nordstrands (I tried the 1505MS at a local shop on a few different amps, as nobody near me had a 1006MS in stock). I also prefer the flat gray color to this weird black ice thing, though I really liked the blue on the 1505MS.

The active system works quite well but I actually find myself leaving it in passive quite a bit too. I love having a switch for that--it's a super underrated feature that I've never had before. The dot inlay visibility is definitely an issue on many of these models, so watch a few YouTube videos on that (as well as the right-side strap button placement... you may want to lower it, but I don't mind it). Overall this seems like a pretty good deal if you want the nordstrands and like the finish.

I got it from Adorama on a past deal. I had never played an instrument with fanned frets before, but in reality, I never noticed the difference while playing. This bass was promoted at some point by Linus Klausenitzer (Alkaloid, Obscura). I got it for $1299. It's a good instrument, so this is still a reasonable price

bought this a few years ago for full price at i think ~$1700 at the time? definitely worth it, a very very nice bass, very smooth. only problem ive had is when using the passive EQ there's like an 'airy' almost hollow sound? not sure if it's just the pickups or what

Pickups are all passive here. Change your prepaid rant according to the model you're trying to sell next time.

The preamp can be switched off, not talking about active pickups
