Staples is excellent covering the warranty and sending out any parts if needed in the future.

Maybe I'll try to find a used steelcase.
Look at the side view photos.
The seat peaks from front to back so you sit on a hot spot.
The sides of the chairs rise up and make hips sore
If someone is 100-140 lbs it might not matter but anyone larger will be flirting with issues.
"Ergonomic" means you will be made to fit the chair and not vice versa.
After 2 months of this chair I put it out on the sidewalk for someone to take.
Their customer service and warranty is pretty good. Been looking for a reason to get rid of it but haven't found any dealbreakers yet.

I bought the Hyken originally back in 2017ish and used it for 3 years. I'd sit in it for a couple hours a night doing stuff on my computer. Occassionally when I would work from home I'd have to sit in it all day.
I blew out a piston pretty early on and had to replace it. The extended warranty means the $300 I originally paid for this chair was entirely refunded and I was just out the $20 for a new piston, and the $40(?) for the warranty itself.
It wasn't until Covid that I realized just how much this chair sucked though. After sitting in it all day for eight hours and then trying to sit it in for a few more to game or whatever, I felt like my back was broken. I couldn't sleep. I would roll around on the ground trying to get my back to straighten out and be less sore. I went for a few months just absolutely miserable until I brought my HM Mira 2 home from the office.
Literal night and day difference. I could sit in the Mira 2 all day, and then for hours more to game, and get up and walk away with no problems what so ever. I never realized the reason I was so damn sore all the time was from sitting in that Hyken.
I ended up moving all my work gear into a separate office and tried to use my Hyken again as my gaming chair in another room and immediately started having back problems again.
That Hyken still sits in the corner of my basement because I'm too damn cheap to throw anything out but some day I'll donate it to my worst enemy as a "gift."
