Pass. Using points for non-travel purchases is generally bad value, especially when you factor in how much spending and time it takes to build up 35k points.
This deal saves about $60. Might as well just wait a few more weeks for a straight $50 discount when retailers start doing pre-black friday sales.
Not too long ago Chase had 50% points boost, which is a way better deal if you cant wait for it again.
Unpopular comment here but if you utilize Chase's travel partners like Hyatt through Sapphire, you can routinely get 2-3X value versus this 1.15X value. Not really a deal IMO but to each their own

Agreeing with the other comments on Hyatt. Great points transfer value plus their continental breakfast has been a winner at all of our stays. I'll take Hyatt over a watch any day.
I disagree. A $500 watch is more valuable than a night at a Hyatt.
I was waiting on this but very disappointed it's only 15%. It was 20% historically.
Actually just realized this is Apple Watch only. Used to be for all Apple products, was hoping to get the iPhone 16 with this but guess not. Guess I'll just get the battery on my iPhone 12 Pro replaced and call it a day.

what? do they do conversion 1:2 chase to hyatt? or are you talking about rooms for cash vs. points? because if it is just that then no bonus here, then it all just depends on the hotel, location date etc. to get a good deal. Not that its Chase

Thanks. Mind sharing an example? Do you mean just booking a Hyatt hotel through the chase portal or do you mean transferring chase points to Hyatt and then booking via Hyatt website?

I mean transferring points in the Chase UR portal to Hyatt. Hyatt hotels are divided into categories, which are not directly tied to the cost of the hotel (except for high and low demand pricing). For example, the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme is usually well over €1,000 per night but can be had for 40,000 points, which is worth about $400 in cash. So you're looking at probably 3-4X in value.

You need the CSR card so this is not a slick deal.
