Pass. Using points for non-travel purchases is generally bad value, especially when you factor in how much spending and time it takes to build up 35k points.

This deal saves about $60. Might as well just wait a few more weeks for a straight $50 discount when retailers start doing pre-black friday sales.

Unpopular comment here but if you utilize Chase's travel partners like Hyatt through Sapphire, you can routinely get 2-3X value versus this 1.15X value. Not really a deal IMO but to each their own

Unfortunately Amazon prime card doesn't come with Ultimate Rewards. It's any of the sapphire, freedom, or ink rewards cards that are connected to Ultimate Rewards program from Chase.

Citi has the same program? This is through chase, it doesn't seem to work if I'm accessing ultimate rewards through freedom or freedom unlimited. Only when I access ultimate rewards through my sapphire card will it show that I can use my points to purchase from Apple. (As others have stated, you can choose to use 0 points and just pay through a chase credit card).

For what it's worth, I ordered a black Apple Watch Ultra 2 with black titanium milanese band, a gold watch 10 42mm in titanium with gold SS milanese band, and a rose gold watch 10 42mm in aluminum with sports band. When I called to ask about the status of my orders, the rep said the first will be delivered between Oct 10-17, second will be Oct 2-9, and third will be delivered between Oct 3-10. Hope that helped give a sense of timing and supply. Seems like black Ultra 2 is the most backed up.

I see a lot of comments about transferring points to Hyatt which is super helpful. Are the points worth more if you transfer to Marriott also?
