All these tools are awesome (Knipex, Wiha, Wera and Klein) the prices however are the normal prices and sometimes more than the average...

Very very good Pliers. Last week I need another wrench plier. I tried and use all the wrench pliers at HD, Lowes, HF. Everything is trash compare to knipex. Purchase mine at HD 10 years ago. Still works good as new. The grip. design, everything about it but the price make it a perfect pliers imo

$39 at Harbor Freight, without the occasional 10%-25% discount.
I think the "German" brands are in serious need of a reality check regarding their pricing.

It was okay when the Icon just showed up. The price gap was smaller, so it made sense to go Knipex. But Knipex jacked up price a lot recently and given it has no warranty essentially, Icon is much better.

HART have the same too. Basically HD and Lowes have gazillion of those.
