I am getting $150.99 w/o using the code. The code adds a line item for bundle&service. Does that code include an extended manufacturers warranty?
Nevermind that is total savings of $150.99 not the price

Also curious since it's VA panel do you and anyone on the thread experience any ghosting/smearing? Read one person on Reddit comment it's not noticeable to them, but would love to hear people's experience. Especially when using against the darker background say moving screen when coding or using terminal on a bright text dark background setting
I can't say I have noticed any ghosting. I've created many SQL reports on this monitor and use a dark theme, I haven't seen this monitor perform any less than other monitors I've used. I also utilize dark theme on other apps, no issues.

I actually had an order for another monitor. Ended up canceling that and ordering this one. This will be my second monitor, I just couldn't justify spending another 350+ for the planned use, at 180 it's a steal.

I saw this monitor at Costco yesterday for a similar price and it looked really nice on display. It's very tempting.

Is it from partner store or regular store?

Very tempted and would plan to used this for mostly office work. Would like to run some games here and there but mostly work. Usually in these threads many comments will say go IPS vs VA but not many here. Is there any difference to a casual user? I'm on 2 screens with my main being an older Asus 27 inch 60hz so I'm upgrading no matter what lol. This price is nice.

If you are on 2×27, by going to 34, about 1/3 horizontal screen real estate will be lost. So keep that in mind.

I'm in for one, hope it's as good a deal as it seems. Called LG about something just now the customer service was horrible once you actually reach a human.

This is an awesome price for 1440p 100hz gaming monitor and the fact that it is curved with Vesa mount is a plus.
A VA screen isn't generally considered good for gaming.

Does anyone know if this stacks with the CapitalOne offers (9% for LG right now)? They don't require entering a code, but there's a think in the terms about other coupons.

Also, when I first entered the wrong code (I pasted in the model number that I used to search for it, LoL) it gave me another 10% off code. So it appears there are several ways to get at tleast 10% off.

How was text? I'm thinking of one of these for work but I see a lot of complaints about text on these larger curved monitors.
Text looks great to me. If you were using a large 1080p monitor there'd be some issues, but at 2k a 34" monitor looks great for almost everything.

Where does it say it's 1800R? LG's response to a question about the curvature on the site says it's 1500R.
It is possible I had found the info on another display with a similar product number. I'm unsure. 1500r or 1800r there isn't THAT much of a difference but both would be an ok curve vs 1000r.

There is an IPS version for $50 more that a person posted in this thread. https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg...e-monitor?

I also want a good monitor for my home office(mostly work from home during the week days), I wonder if I should just get this(VA panel) or keep waiting for a good deal for OLED. Please advise.

I now use 27" IPS, is it worth the upgrade from it?

Thanks!
