Just keep in mind that the ANC will not be as effective as the pro which seals the ear. It will dampen some noises though so it's better than nothing. Personally I own the 3rd gen and AirPods pro. When I want ANC I use the pro but everything else I use the 3rd gen. I hate that suction feeling of the silicone tips. i find the non-pro's to be more comfortable.

118.00 on amazon now. The base are perfect for me.
I love my gen1s but the batteries dont last anymore. They fit my ears perfect.
I hate ANC, not being ableto hear my surroundings bugs me so these are perfect.

They should make gen 5 the same shape as gen one/2. I can wear those all days. Even sleep in them. Put a ton of money and research into making your first pair of airpods then change the best design to make it "newer"

If you use every or every other day. No question, get the pros. You will regret it.

The pros are amazing for everything and with transparency mode (hear more environmental sounds) they are useable in many settings.

I had AirPods 2, 3, 4, 4 NC and pro's 2. The pro's were the best but the NC caused major tinnitus for me and i returned them. My doctor felt the NC pressure was too great. The 2's were the most comfortable for me, but always felt like they would fall out of my ear while jogging. I traded in my 2's as the battery life was going bad at Best Buy for $20 and picked up the 4 NC. The 4 NC brought my tinnitus back and i returned them for the regular 4. NC pressure feels the same between the 4 NC and pros. My 3's always felt a tad too big in my ear, they were tolerable for an hour or two and then my ears started to hurt. The regular 4's fit very well, i can go a few hours wearing them with no issues. For me the .05 inch difference in fit depth between the 3 and 4 made all the difference.

The 3's get you $45 at Best Buy if you trade in.

Watches are getting cheap, $450-$500 for an Ultra. iPad 9s going for $250, 10s going for $300 I think

I get this is the way it's always worked, but I feel like the stuff thats getting cheaper now is a bigger step up in tech than we've ever seen

The ergonomics on these are horrible. I wouldn't recommend these to my dog.
