Lowest price ever and back to the same price as what it was back in June.

The only issue we've had with my son's is that it came with 3 dead pixels but we were able to use the warranty to get a new screen since one of the pixels was an "always on" bright white pixel.

Ok, so heres my gamble
$899.99 price
-10% Dell coupon = -$90
-10% Cashback site (on $809.99) =-$80.99
-$200 AMEX Plat business Semi-annual statement credit =-200
-10% Amex plat business (amex offers) (on $624) =-$62
-$50 Amex Plat statement credit (split payment, on $250)=-$50

Final should be $416+ Tax

(I know, slow day at the office)

Any idea what the nits is on that display? Not a bad device from the looks of it. Would love to know how bright it can be.

Good laptop, Dell warranty is top notch. I have the 3060 variant for work.

Screen seems a little dim at times but I have it connected to a docking station with a 144hz monitor and it has no problems or any over heating. I have an amazing cooling fan stand that connects via usb which acts like another docking station with multiple usb connections.

Games i am mostly playing is Starcraft 2, Overwatch, Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves.

Do you have a link for your cooling fan stand? I would be interested. Thanks.

This looks like a good deal. Hx is the cpu variant that you want. I'm thinking of upgrading from a 2022 AMD advantage G14 6900hs+6700s to this. My problem with AMD is they don't have a super resolution for movies on browser. Nvidia does. Nvidia also has a feature to increase the HDR effects slightly improving movie colors. I mainly want to switch for the Nvidia software to watch movies. The super resolution on Nvidia makes movies full screen if they aren't as well as clear compression pixelation. If AMD had this feature I wouldn't need to upgrade..

Although this would be a huge upgrade, it would be both a cpu and dGPU upgrade. That would be great.

Is the ram upgradable on this laptop?

It seems like the only downsides of this Dell laptop is RAM upgrade and 300 nits is kinda low nowadays.

I'd be interested in knowing which cooling fan you have, too, because I got a Enhance one from Dell using my Dell rewards dollars, and as far as I can tell it does exactly bupkis for cooling off my G15 (Ryzen 7 7840HS/RTX 4060).

Newbie here..how much should this be in your opinion? Any other deal worth the price at the moment? Seeing as it's a very easy 10% coupon, 10% cashback and amex promo on top of that, I thought this could be decent.

Mine blue screens all the time, I have the exact same spec. My dads is fine. Be warned the charger it comes with is huge as well. I would consider other options.

Could someone please advise if it'd be worthwhile from a spec and price perspective to upgrade to the i9?
