I have this and the fuel.. honestly this normal one is often more useful due to the slightly smaller size.

If memory serves, the best HD hack put this in the $80 range. So this seems like a smoking deal.

Solid deal. I got the new brushless high speed version and leave that one in the shop and moved the original, brushed model (this one on sale) to my basement workshop. It's a great tool.

I'm an avid tool user and wooter. I'm used to seeing DeWalt woot deals, Ryobi has been appearing here and there, but this is the first Milwaukee I can recall seeing maybe ever? Will have to keep an eye out for more Milwaukee Woot deals.

Maybe someone can correct me there if there have been other Milwaukee M12 or M18 Woot sales

This is only useful if you work on cars right?

Very useful for cars and motorcycle type work. But it also comes in handy when you're working on any bolt that's in a tight spot where you can only turn the ratchet or wrench part of the way.

The one you really want is the one with the extended reach, Milwaukee 2569-20 or 3050-20 or 2568-20. Those let you get into tight spaces, working blind and they rarely, if ever go on sale.

This one ok. You can select an equivalent competitive brand , with battery (take your pick).

Would you recommend this one or Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless 3/8" Ratchet w/ 2Ah Battery, 4Ah Battery & Charger
To me the ryobi seems a bit bulky for auto work, but might be a good option if you already have other ryobi tools and no milwaukee stuff.

If it matters, YMMV if you could warranty your ratchet if it breaks since most sellers on Amazon aren't "authorized sellers"

Warranty? If it's a fake, there won't be one at all. Don't buy Milwaukee tools from unauthorized vendors.

Isn't the ryobi still avail for $80 with extra batt/chg?
That Ryobi is so bulky and heavy plus the big battery sticks out perpendicular to the rest of the tool, it just makes it impractical for most work under the hood or in tight spaces.

It's not sold by Amazon so woot deal is better all around. And if you want to risk warranty, as mentioned earlier, with hack this is only down to $80 at HD, so this is a very good deal for those already in m12 system.

People should know this is NOT a powerful nut buster impact. It will do nothing to free stuck bolts and will not tighten over maybe 20 ft lbs. This is much more for spinning off and on and less for loosening and tightening.

If you don't need a heavy duty ratchet, this Hyper Tough 12V rechargeable ratchet with charger and battery is less than $40 [walmart.com] all the time at Walmart, and for me it has worked really well. Changing the oil in my Tundra can be tough just taking the skid plate off, and this ratchet is excellent in getting the bolts out with no problem.

While I agree that it is important for people to temper their expectations, this handles most 8-10mm on my cars, and if it can't, you just use it manually until it can. If someone needs impact, they can look at the right-angle impact.

Please correct me if I'm wrong about the manual part-- I often just surround myself with SD tools and grab/drop them until the fastener is taken care of, so maybe I'm misremembering it.

This isn't too bad of a deal for someone needing the battery and charger. $135

If you need a battery and charger, you can get the ratchet, impact driver, drill , sawzall , light TWo batteries and a charger for $219. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../304708058

Plus Home Depot is an 'Authorized Seller' if you need Warranty work. HoSaleShop probably isn't.
