Proprietary motherboard and power supply... but otherwise an amazing value for the price.

Included power supply should be rated for 260W.

Please consider updating the listing to note that the only remaining model includes a dedicated graphics card at $329.45 after discount.
  • Nvidia GeForce GT 730 (2 GB)
Good luck!

I don't see any more OptiPlex 7080's available, but I'm even more surprised to see this [dellrefurbished.com] sold by Dell. (Don't buy it, awful price).

I'm a newbee of computer. When they say "256GB SSD" is that meaning a regular "SATA SSD" or a new M2, nvme style ? TIA.

I bought a refurbished Lenovo tower on eBay, there are a reasonable amount of options, for this price a few weeks ago. If you're in the market for something like this, check there first. Mine is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M750s-N000 i5-12500 32GB RAM 256GB SSD Desktop. You can search by "refurbished 12500" if you specifically want to find this, but there are other variations.

I hate to say it but the mini pc on SD that's featuring the ryzen 7 5800u for the same price is a better computer than this. Minus the dvd drive.

These are always the SATA SSD but there's a slot for gen3 nvme on the SFF, so this should have it as well.

For most of the laptops currently on offer at Dell Refurbished the SSDs in question are indeed in the M2 form factor. However, you will have to check a given models options to determine whether the included SSD option would be SATA or NVMe. It is a safe assumption for many models that the smaller sizes (like 128GB) will be a low-cost SATA option, but again there's going to be a balance of determining the specifications offered for a given model (checking the Dell support pages) balanced with some luck if a given size was available in two or more options originally from Dell (e.g. - if a 256 GB option was available as SATA or NVMe, I haven't seen an effort on the Dell Refurbished site to clearly distinguish which option is associated with a given listing).

A check of the specifications [dell.com] for this Dell suggests that only M.2 SSD models were paired with the 7080 and all were NVMe type.

Good luck!
Jon
