Product Details:
- Automatic dust collection, mop-cleaning and -drying, water-refilling, solution-adding, fast mapping, and path-planning all combine to make fully automated home cleaning a reality.
- Auto-empty system utilizes DualBoost 2.0 system to blow air into the robot's dust box and vacuum it into a 3L dust bag, giving you up to 60 days of automatic, hands-off cleaning.
- AI Action utilizes an RGB camera and 3D structured light to rapidly learn your home, tailor cleaning strategies, and auto-generate paths according to the type of obstacle, flooring, and room.
- Powerful 5,300Pa suction, automatic carpet detection, suction boost, and a robust rubber brush coordinate to pull household debris, hair, and dust from floors and carpets.
- Set cleaning behavior to have carpet identification avoid carpets while mopping or simply raise the mop pads while vacuuming.
- Dual rotary mops spin at 180RPM under firm pressure to thoroughly scrub floors, covering up to 2,152ft² (200sqm) with a large 2.5L water tank.
- Automatic mop cleaning immerses the mops in water and spins them at high speed against grooves in the removable base plate to dislodge dirt. After cleaning is complete, the mops are dried with hot air in as little as 2 hours to help prevent odor.
- Create multiple maps for multi-floor houses, segment rooms, create virtual walls, set no-go zones, and create cleaning schedules and routines. Start, pause, or stop cleaning with voice commands or supervise your home using the video control in the app.

You can buy consumables and repair parts readily on Aliexpress - including detergent. They do sell bulk detergent for a different Dreame vacuum and the bottles for this one are "not refillable" but do have a simple pushed in plug on a hole. Refilling them with the bulk bottle works just fine.
If I have a major complaint it's that I wish the water and sewage hook-up kit wasn't so expensive relative to the vacuum. I can't find it for less than $100.
The biggest benefits the X30 has over the L10s are an extending mop pad, a self-cleaning mop tray, auto-removable mop pads, higher max suction (this is a gimmick), automatic detergent dispensing, and a dirt sensor when cleaning the mop pads.
The extending mop pad will ensure that the floors close to the baseboards get cleaned. So, it automates a bit more of the cleaning routine so that you don't have to go around and clean that yourself.
Regarding the self-cleaning mop tray, both the L10s and X30 will wash and dry the mop pads and refill the clean water. However, the tray that the mop pads are washed in needs to be removed and manually cleaned out on the L10s. The X30's mop cleaning tray has a squeegee system that rinses and cleans the tray automatically, which further automates things.
The X30's auto-removable mop pads give you the option to leave the mop pads behind at the dock, so if you have any high-pile carpet or rugs, there is no risk of them getting wet. Or you could just tell the X30 to raise the mop pads when it senses carpet/rugs. The L10s only has the option to raise the mop pads.
The higher max suction is likely to make very little difference to the cleaning result for most people. Usually people don't run the vacuum on max suction anyway, unless they like buying lithium batteries once a year. If your carpets get a lot of pet hair or deep debris, maybe this makes a difference for you.
The automatic detergent dispensing is something I'm not sold on either. It uses so little detergent (from concentrate) that I'm not sure it makes a difference. I believe it uses it when cleaning the mop pads, but I've seen conflicting answers online about whether the detergent is used to clean the floors too. Either way, I don't notice any smells on my floors after mopping, so it's not like it's freshening up my house. I might not notice a difference if a vacuum didn't have this.
The dirt sensor in the vacuum base can detect if the mop pads were excessively dirty, and it can signal the vacuum to re-clean the area it just cleaned. Might be useful to some people, but I haven't noticed a benefit from it yet.

You'll have to ask yourself if those features I mentioned justify 2-3x the price. For most people, they probably don't. I think the L10s at $359 is a sweet spot for the average person, while the most lazy person might appreciate the extra features I paid for.
For that high-end (super lazy) buyer, they might also want to look at the brand new Roborock Q-Revo Curv ($1300-$1500). It has all the same features I've already mentioned, but it also has some extra features to avoid tangled hair on the side brush and brush roller, as well as a way for it to adjust the vacuum's height to clear obstacles or flooring transitions that are like an inch or taller. Someone with shag carpet might also benefit from this height adjustment since shag carpet will pretty much suffocate other robot vacuums and result in them getting stuck.
