Not waterproof and not gas purged. Will likely fog badly and not designed for "rugged" use.

I'd pass and go for a competitive pair from Celestron or pay a few bucks more for Vortex.

I'd pass and go for a competitive pair from Celestron or pay a few bucks more for Vortex.

I got my Celestron Outland X 10x25 binos on sale for about the same price and have happily traveled the world with them.

You really can't go wrong with anything from Vortex in my experience either.

Actually there are many more uses including taking to a sporting event, putting in your car for those moments when you need a pair of glasses, and even giving as a gift to someone who just needs a basic pair of light glasses.

Small light glasses are great to take to a game or on a hike. The light weight is appreciated.
