I bought it last week and I have it set up in my office at work. It's powering some free Bose speakers I picked up a while back. It does have 2 sub-outs and also has a sub-out with an internal amp for a passive sub. Technically, this receiver should be listed as 5.3. It is 4k, but only has an arc hdmi output. I bought this specifcally for music in the office only so I won't get to test video for a while, if ever. I've had it set up in my office for two days now playing music via bluetooth off my phone. No complaints.
47 pounds! Does it have solid lead bars for heatsinks? My Yamaha AVENTAGE weighs only 22.5 lbs!
This is not a Korean Company. Daewoo dissolved a long time ago during IMF. This I believe is Turkish company who bought Daewoo's name but not the technology.

Shouldn't the question be what are the chances Yamaha knows anything about this?

No phono input 😥. Been looking for a cheap receiver so I can hook up my son's turntable and listen to the records he owned.

there was a mooted takeover of daewoo electronics by an iranian group, but it never happened

the remnants of daewoo electronics are still based in korea, not sure if they have anything to do with this receiver. i'm wondering where woot sourced these units - it looks like they were selling them in brazil.

For that, you're better off searching FB marketplace for an older 2-channel receiver. Plenty out there for around this price, and they'll probably have better build and sound quality.

Or get a cheap Chi-fi class-D amp from something like Aiyima, Fosi, Douk, etc. (might be some good deals on Amazon's upcoming October Prime Day), and pair it with a decent entry-level pre-amp like this one: https://www.amazon.com/rolls-Phon...B0002BG2R2.

It will cost a little more, but be easier to upgrade individual components down the line, and save you the hassle of shopping used.

This regularly goes on sale from between $128- $148 and sounds good to me. It does not have a sub out but does have many analog inputs and a tape loop. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_158...DH190.html

I think that's the shipping weight, based on the dimensions.

I am tempted to get this for the garage, but I can't find a single review of it.
