Not sure what Rtings Reviews you're looking at, but according to Rtings, the Sony X90L series is significantly better than the Samsung Q72D series.

Great TV. Got the 75 last year from Costco for 1499.00, so this a great price.

EDIT: Fair warning, we switched from a 55 to the 75 and it was pretty much physically twice as large.

At this size? IMO yes. I bought mine over the OLED due to location I was putting it in a walkout basement (and it was half the price). There's new models coming soon that were announced a while ago, but this exact model didn't get a direct replacement. So you'll have to go down in specs or up in price for 2024 Sonys

Sony's don't need warranty's. Rock solid. Still rockin my 83 inch I bought during the pandemic. Bought it for 1500 then prices went to over 2000. This is a great deal.

Yeah the cheapest I saw this one go without extended warranty was 1999. I was tracking it for several months as our basement got finished. I've seen it for 2100, 1999, now this price.

Bestbuy has the same thing no extended warranty (except costco's has a better remote) for $1699. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony...Id=6544735
