This is essentially a drill, and a highly powered screwdriver.

You would want an "Impact Wrench" for doing things with lug nuts, and other socket-based tasks.

Compact but the battery makes it huge. Switched to 12v never looked back.

I will use it to undo(disassemble) to assemble, power tools are generally not recommended. They can strip your bolt or over torque which can lead brittle plastics to break.

If I'm personally installing a lot of desks/chairs, I would get an electric screw driver. Something that's compact and has little torque

Question for the pro's here, can you return the battery in this kit back to home depot for either store credit or a refund? I'm kinda lost on how the "hack" works. Does it only work with like bundled items say a drill tool only with a battery included but they have different sku's? I think this one might have one, so not sure if you can do the hack on this. I don't need the batteries on this kit.

No really a slick deal. I was able to pick up a Brushless set just last month with a slick deal hack. Was able to get a combo kit brushless drill and impact driver along with charger, 2 x 2ah batteries and bag. After returning the extra 3rd battery hack. Total cost was $102+tax
