I would try to find good certified refurbished ATOTO Stereo for similar budget range from Ebay(Allstate) with 2 years warranty instead.

90 Days warranty from Woot.
No way of getting firmware update from Nakamichi website and Janky web interface.
This unit is also being sold at Walmart as brand new for around $130.

Why would it need a firmware update? I've never had to update firmware on a headunit.

I've been installing stereos since Nakamichi was a high end brand. I've never, even within the past couple of years, had to update firmware on a head unit. It's not something I'd be concerned about. Honestly, for $50, I wouldn't be concerned if it bricked a year later.

I don't see steering wheel control in the wiring diagram section of the manual. Guess they just assume no one will use the steering wheel to adjust the sound volume.
At least put a physical rotary knob on it for volume control. Was thinking about getting this for my mother since she loves her CD collections but won't do it if she can't adjust the volume safely while driving.
