I've had two successive sets fail on me - one of the two buds simply doesn't switch on after a few months (2-4 months in both my cases).
Hard pass !

Just figured I'd chime in. I bought a set of these on Black Friday last year and another a few months later. I don't use mine constantly, but I do use them for phone calls and Teams calls with my laptop. I've been pretty happy with them for the price. Definitely not an Apple product, but I personally don't have any complaints. I guess YMMV with this product.

Anyone know if you can turn off the touch controls? They're so annoying I set them off all the time ๐Ÿ˜ž

I think this is what I got in the 2 for 20 deal at woot a few months back, they're pretty good. For the price I really don't have any complaints. I worry about the usb A integrated charger failing down the road but for 10$, hard to really complain.

I have a couple pair of these. Sound is good. They last about 7 hours on a charge. Walmart sells these at around 10 dollars around Christmastime.

how is the mic quality for you on teams? thinking about getting for work calls so I don't have to use a headset

Yes you can, the JLab Pop+ can use their app and can turn on/off or modify the touch controls to how you like. They'll remember the last settings you made from the app.

Got these for $10 last BF at Walmart. They're fine. Good value. A little uncomfortable in the hear but work well and sound is fine.

Jlabs used to be really good but starting about a year ago, their quality has gone down significantly. Their earbuds barely last 6 months now and I constantly have connectivity issues on android devices. I don't recommend. Soundcore has the same value with better quality.

The manual says "The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Simply choose one and take out of the case to connect."

Anyone know if that is mono output or only half the stereo output? I try to game sometimes with only one earpod but the way some games; audio is mixed the sound can be completely on one side of the other, especially for dialogue and audio cues. And no, by default my system does not have a global setting for mono only.

Edit: emailed jlabs who quickly replied with "The sound output will always be stereo even if using one bud, if you were to remove the other bud from the case you would see them both playing the exact sounds."

Not sure they understand what I am asking (or talking about) as the "playing the exact sounds" isn't stereo Wink
