I used this tent last summer when it was raining. Light rain wasn't a problem. However, in heavy rain, there was some water leakage. But if you pull the rain fly a bit tighter and create some space between it and the inner mesh, it's not something to worry too much about.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It was my best choice for last summer.

The interior space was very roomy.
The mesh on the front door is quite open, so it can get cool when the wind blows. It's fine if you cover it with some fabric to block the wind.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I always tarp our tent regardless of the rainfly. I have been in some really nasty rain storms and it has helped immensely!

I got this tent last time it went for this price.

Taking it out Saturday for the first time.

Just as a heads up, this tent is HUGE!
I set it up to see what can fit, and we easily fit 2 full and 1 queen air mattresses. I wouldn't be surprised if you could fit more if you tried.

As long as it does okay with rain, I think its a great deal for the size.

Spacious tent, we loved the size. Don't try and use it in the winter though. Far far too drafty and cold - even in a Californian winter !

Took it out to ARRL Field Day this summer and we got hit with pretty bad wind/rain overnight. Interior stayed dry, had one peg pull up. Solid tent for the price.
