The long reach jack is physically bigger all around.

The body of $144 jack is 31.5" long, the handle is 50", lift range of 3.5" to 24.5" High and weighs 103 lbs.
The body of $108 jack is 27" long, the handle is 45", lift range of 3.25 to 20" High and it weighs 79 lbs.

Difference between Long reach and 3T low-pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L...sZ10&t=34s

This is just one of many WRX Jacking videos where they're lifting it with a "regular" 3 Ton Low profile jack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D...Ukw&t=194s
Never trust a jack to support the car. You use the jack to lift the car to install a jack stand that will safely support the car. You can leave the jack there but the weight should be on the jack stand(s). Jack stands are sold in pairs and the weight rating is for the pair. So a 3 ton jack stand pair can support 1.5 in each stand. Buy proper wheel chocks to block the wheels that will remain on the ground front and back and only work on a level surface preferably concrete. If you are working on asphalt on a hot day jack stands could sink into the asphalt and shift. If you are lifting at the pinch weld purchase an aluminum pinch weld adapter. When the hydrolics in a jack fail it can drop immediately. Never get under a car only supported by a jack or work on an incline.
tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me. Daytona jacks are highly reviewed and used by mechanic shops all over.

Great deal. The lowest I've seen the Super Duty was $180 back when full price was $199. Year 2018. they're likely getting rid of stock for the new ones.

I plan on getting one of these tomorrow. I'm sure I'm missing something but how do I print the coupon for the in-store purchase? Click on the coupon just brings you to the product page.

o.p. got the dates wrong, it's on 9/28

the pricey low long-reach jack is a winner, just watch out for the grease zert fitting to break off, it's in a bad location.

i wrapped the broken zert area with that wide clear packing tape, but gotta go in a fix it eventually.

I've got a WRX and looking for something to replace my current jack... its reach makes jacking up the car next to impossible.

It looks like a quite a price difference between the 3-ton "Long Reach", "Super Duty", and the normal "Low Profile" options. And, it also looks like the Long Reach only adds 5" to the handle.

Do any of you have enough experience with these models to dissuade/persuade me into any of the options?

Solid deal, but check some of those prices in the OP. Specifically, the 2 ton aluminum jack isn't going to be $81, it will be $128 ($209-81)

I was thinking the same thing. Is it Saturday, or today?
My bad, I fixed the date to Sept 28.

I posted it today to give people a heads up in advance, to do some reseach or comparison shopping ,what have you.

A floor jack isn't something I'd want to Impulse buy and it's only a One Day sale.

According to the price tracker, most of these will be All Time lows https://hfpricetracker.com/tools

Best bet is to probably look at them in person in store. IMHO the long reach jacks are well.worth the $$ if you think you'll need the extra reach or lift they provide.

Would any of these be ok for lifting a vehicle with a gross weight of around 7500 pounds?
