The long reach jack is physically bigger all around.

The body of $144 jack is 31.5" long, the handle is 50", lift range of 3.5" to 24.5" High and weighs 103 lbs.
The body of $108 jack is 27" long, the handle is 45", lift range of 3.25 to 20" High and it weighs 79 lbs.

Difference between Long reach and 3T low-pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L...sZ10&t=34s

This is just one of many WRX Jacking videos where they're lifting it with a "regular" 3 Ton Low profile jack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D...Ukw&t=194s

Never trust a jack to support the car. You use the jack to lift the car to install a jack stand that will safely support the car. You can leave the jack there but the weight should be on the jack stand(s). Jack stands are sold in pairs and the weight rating is for the pair. So a 3 ton jack stand pair can support 1.5 in each stand. Buy proper wheel chocks to block the wheels that will remain on the ground front and back and only work on a level surface preferably concrete. If you are working on asphalt on a hot day jack stands could sink into the asphalt and shift. If you are lifting at the pinch weld purchase an aluminum pinch weld adapter. When the hydrolics in a jack fail it can drop immediately. Never get under a car only supported by a jack or work on an incline.

tell me you don't know what you're talking about without telling me. Daytona jacks are highly reviewed and used by mechanic shops all over.

I'd like to get the off-road jack. I hope it's not excluded for whatever reason.

It's not made by Daytona, so likely it will be excluded.

Using Harbor Freight jacks stands is idiotic, but not the jack
I have the 3 ton jack stands. I like the triangular pin. No issues.

Wow, ive been eyeing the 3 ton low profile with rapid *foot* pump for among time now... $144 is a steal. And iirc, there was a price mistake on e where ppl got it for a similar price or maybe a lil lower at $125.

For anyone curious, the foot pump gets the jack to touch actual car but doesn't lift it. So it's like 3 pumps where u don't need to pump the bar to get u up to the car.

o.p. got the dates wrong, it's on 9/28

the pricey low long-reach jack is a winner, just watch out for the grease zert fitting to break off, it's in a bad location.

i wrapped the broken zert area with that wide clear packing tape, but gotta go in a fix it eventually.
Do you have the Superduty (3 year) low pro or professional (90 day warranty) long reach low pro jack? Seems even though the superduty is not marketed as such, dimensions indicate it has same reach as the professional.

What grease gun do you use? can you get away with just filling with a squeeze tube or can the zerk cap not be removed? I don't know if I've ever actually used a zerk...just greasing directly from a squeeze tube for my trimmer, etc. Thanks.

I have the Superduty and it has the same capabilities as the long reach low pro, it's just better built, has larger wheels and has more grease fittings. I'm sure the long reach low pro works just fine for almost every application. I think the larger wheels are a nice to have if the floor isn't in good shape - the jack can roll more easily as it goes through its arc.

Fantastic deal. Have been using HF jacks for so long.

https://www.harborfreight.com/15-...58811.html

This is right now my favorite one. I used the super duty one for a long time but honestly it is pretty overkill for so many things. It's heavy and bulky.

But the 1.5 ton jack is perfect. There are very few things that can't be lifted by it. You shouldn't be using a floor Jack as a stand so you really don't need 3 ton for most things.

Highly recommend this one. It's so thin it gets under my lowered car with side skirts, and it's so light. It's extremely well made, too. I think it's the best Jack Hf makes right now.
