These composite ratchets are identical those sold at Harbor Freight because they are made by the same manufacturer.
The normal retail prices for them at Harbor Freight are $8.99, $9.99 & $10.99 respectively.
So at a total of $29.97 they are already cheaper from HF without a discount from one of their frequent sales.

Tekton does a better job than most of offering no-skip sets in decent cases, sometimes that's worth a slightly premium price. Otherwise you better off buying the same tools from another label.

Yep, there's a reason they're discontinued, tekton moved on to different ratchets. Not saying these aren't any good, though

I've used Tekton's 3/8" drive composite ratchet for several years with zero complaints. It's done everything I've needed it to do. May buy another one.

Looks like these ratchets are on sale individually as well, along with other tools. Thanks!

I have the Harbor Freight (Pittsburgh Pro, Gray/Black) version of this set and they've performed much better than expected. Great ratchet mechanism, perfect ergonomics and feel in the hand, strong and capable. They've become my favorites and get the most use of all my ratchets. Having never owned composite ratchets before these I was a bit skeptical, but they've proven to be a solid addition to my toolbox.

The HF's are OK tools for the money, but I don't find any advantage to the overly bulky & curved shape.
I much prefer the encapsulated Duralast ratchets. [autozone.com]
The heads are amazingly thin.
I've bought a few at different times on sale from 30 to 50 percent off.
Ergonomically they both work pretty much the same but the Duralast not only takes up alot less space but fits in slots in tool cases from some of my other tool sets as a nice replacement for a broken ratchet or just a lighter ratchet in a travel set.

There is no point comparing products that 3x the price

Do you have a link showing it's the same OEM?

Different ratchet example here but same idea. Neither Tekton nor Harbor Freight made them just ordered the same specs from the same vendor.

When tools come from the same factory one company might opt for a slight variation in the design.
These are identical right down to the tooth count. Even the handle shape is identical, only the color and branding are unique.
Same ratchets are sold by random Chinese brands on Temu sometimes with slightly different handle moldings.

I have both 1/4 & 3/8 harbor freight version. Price wise and warranty after 30% off cant be beat. Best ergo ever for ratchets! 1/4 is my go to around the house. 3/8 head bit bulky but I haven't had any issues for my needs.

I have both and the internals are swappable between them.

The $5 off any Pittsburgh Pro ratchet coupon made these incredibly cheap back a few years ago. I think I paid $1.99 or $2.99 for the 1/4" ratchet every time I went in. Great gifts back then
