This is older version. M8 is the latest and the price dropped to around that price last year.

M7C and M8C is different whereas the M8 delivers much better text clarity and the stand has better ergonomics. The old version is the B series.

Bought this deal last time. Definitely worth the $250 price tag.

Only 2 downsides
1) 60hz
2) only 1 hdmi πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

Also, I cannot get that usb-c port to work no matter what I tried to plug in. Anyone have any luck with this port?

what you trying to connect? its an upstream port, i think you need to connect that to your pc and then you can connect a usb drive, a usb keyboard/mouse to the other usb ports and use them as an extension

I'm trying to connect my PC (desktop) and Mac mini M1 via USB-C on both computers. I also have a HDMI to USB-C converter to plug in my playstation but no luck either.

I wished they'd just give us 2 hdmi ports over this USB-C that isn't connecting any of my devices.

I have 27" m80c that I bought around April I think. Needed a graduation present for family member and needed to buy 2 for $180 prices gave one away and use other for my daily external monitor and extra tv. I do like the ability to stream apps immediately by pressing button, no need to attach extra devices. Also can connect various blue tooth devices and stream xbox game pass. Also it's perfect size for my smaller laptop desk. Also ability to use Microsoft 365 for word processing and documents is a bonus. One downside is that it only detected my connected laptop with the included hdmo cable and ot a regular, generic one. And my hdmi switch didn't work, which had no issue with my previous small TV, monitor insignia 22" 1080p TV.

Since there is no ARC HDMI output or 3.5mm jack there is no way to add a sound bar; severely limits your ability to expand the sound beyond internal speakers

True, but then you need to worry about lag and newer versions of BT in the future and connection issues. Wired connection always cleaner with sound.
