I replaced all of my wyze cameras with Tapos recently.... so far they are working perfectly. The app is much better than wyze... no problems with the network. Just throw in an SD card and no more fees and the detection software is great.

Wyze had so many problems between the network dropping all the time to not recording my events... to the ever increasing cost of their subscription fees...

I'm currently in the same process. I can confirm that the Tapo app is much more stable now.

Yes. You can do a live view whenever you want. If you want to store the video, you need either a microSD card or a subscription.
