I'm surprised my wife didn't deport me from my house when I brought this or it's little brother home.

Do you need to have a forklift available upon delivery?

Several of us paid $999 about a year ago, so this isn't by any means to be considered a good deal. I also have a monolith 1 x 15", which comes fairly close in performance to my 2 x 15". It does pressurize a larger area, but most people would barley notice the difference dancing in a large crowded room (50' x 100'). You're far better off buying 2 subs and placing them where they sound the best via the "sub crawl" method. Plenty of discussion on that if you search.

Some of us get married way too quickly before getting to know the person cause we can't get jiggy with it until after marriage.

Would recommend having a hand truck if you have to deal with steps.

This thing is way too big and obtrusive for a slight gain in output. I ended up with two 15"s and two 16"s hooked up to a HTP1.

The same size as the single 15 but taller. It takes more vertical space sure.

If you look at the measurements, it's roughly around 6db louder then the m15 across most of the spectrum. Which is doubling the amplitude of the first, roughly twice as loud at max output....

True, but you'll rarely listen at that level, probably just for a demo or 2.

I'd rather have 4 optimally placed "smaller" subs than these eyesores anyday. But if you can fit 4 of these into your room and don't mind the look, why not.

Would this be good for my 500 sqft apartment? Or do I need two?

Just kidding, is going on my bathroom.

My wife and I didn't until after either, but we also spent time finding commonalities and work together towards long term goals. You'll have a lot more fun and success in all aspects of your relationship if you learn to communicate properly before getting jiggy.

Where are you putting 4 subs in a room that they don't cancel each other out? Two across the front wall is ideal. Are you stacking two?
