If you don't own a cast iron pan this is a good size, lodge is about the best you can get in modern cast iron and the rosey the riveter will make it a collectors item. Great on induction and in the oven. Good buy for $20.

that should be easy to clean, lol. a 1 minute job turns into 30 minutes trying to scrub all those indentations.

If the bottom of your pan is getting dirty then you're doing it wrong

FYI, for anyone who doesn't need the special pattern on this and just wants the plain (smooth bottom) Lodge 10.25" skillet, it might be worth checking your local HomeGoods / Marshall / TJ Maxx. At my local HomeGoods I found the same item for $15 that Walmart sells for $20.

smooth pan = good
grill pan with ridges = also good
goofyass pattern regardless of what it is = bad

I'm thinking really hard to buy for my 9 year old, but $20 too much for a "gonna be awesome in 10 years" type gift.

I've had my own lodge for almost 15 years so far

Folks, the design is on the underside of the pan, not the cooking surface, which is smooth. It's probably slightly less efficient to heat up, but that's about the only downside.

So it only looks cool when it is hanging and you can see the backside of the pan?
