Nope, liquid has slightly better temperature but much worse reliability.

Liquid cooling fails quicker so you are buying new build sooner every company wants that.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uJm6wFFCbzU

Around 0:4:35, under 3-month testing liquid cooling has 40%-50% failure rate

Also, this liquid cooling test video is banned by every platform in China

Really looking more for a laptop so I can more easily move from room to room, and since I don't really have a spot for a tower and don't have a great monitor, but this is tempting.. 🤔

Actually, "LENOVOLIVE10" is showing invalid for me, maybe this is dead?

Edit: Ignore, I had something else in my cart preventing this - so if you're having issues, make sure the tower is in there alone.

Hmmm only air cooling in here. No liquid cooler. 🔥

CPU is $300, GPU is $600. So you're getting the rest of the PC for $450.
What would be the price point that this would be a good deal? $1,199?

Is air cooling really that bad for these specs? I haven't built a PC since liquid became more mainstream.

Thanks very much for this.

I'll probably nab one of these if it's still available tomorrow. (They don't have a slow enough shipping option to let me beat it home from out of town. 😅)

How does Ryzen 7 7700 fares against i5-14400F? I found another deal with same specs but with this intel cpu for $1299.

I believe the 7000 series ryzen cpus are very efficient too, so air cooling can handle them well. I have the 7900x which can handle 95c but it games around 75-80c with my Thermalright FC140 air cooler

No. I have a 7700x and as long as you get a half decent air cooler and don't do any overclocking, you'll be fine.

Good price, solid specs, good vendor. Too bad it's not from Costco (yes, they sell these).

FYI, AMD chips run MUCH cooler than Intel.

Liquid cooling is not needed in this build. You're just reducing the longevity of the build for no real benefit.
