I did do it twice and it does give the unlock date, but it also says to call the number to unlock rather than have it automatically unlock. Is this still going to be done automatically?
When you put the different carrier card with WiFi on, it would automatically contact the server to get unlocking eligible status, either unlock it or deny the unlocking request.
I hate Total wireless or any Verizon companies.
When they say $65 with a free phone ,but they charge you around $90 . Metro is honest that free phone is free phone without the fake taxes on original price

What I said is based on my personal first hand experience. I said, it could interfere the automatic unlock. While you still can get it unlocked by call cs

This was upon delivery of both devices today. It didn't occur to me that it'd be different, but that'd be interesting to find out.

ANY TracFone related companies, their pretend they keep records.
Their CS just make things up on the fly.
Several times they told me my phone was never activated, even though I am talking to them on that same phone. No, did not swap SIMs.

The fact , my phone ordered in September, now it is unlocked...I did swap SIM, and trashed the deactivated SIM before it got unlocked...
any phone you ever used it shows up in your account as "inactive line with IMEI # besides it".
(certainly no tax expert) A quick search/read makes it look like MOST states don't do it that way. I'm not finding the specific example of free goods as part of a service tho.
