I use only the CR2032 for all my key fobs. They're on sale as well for $5.99 ($5.09 w/15% S&S).

Agree, have had nothing but problems with these. Amazons basics dont have it and work better. That said, the Amazon ones are super hard to remove from the packaging but I guess that is the alternative safety mechanism.

Absolutely not. Even if they did fit, stacking would double the voltage and therefore make it incompatible.

I had that issue too. But learned that I can wipe it off with a wet towel, dry it and then it works with airtags.
