This matches a previous low price for this model, very good lamp life with a laser light versus a bulb.

I just bought a cheap 480p projector and nice screen for my office and I'm having so much fun with it, this is seriously tempting.

Thanks! Repped. Seems like a good deal. The projector has pretty good review and low noise. The only concern is that it seems quite big. Is that common for laser projector? Not sure why more people aren't jumping on this deal though.

I ended up pulling the trigger on this. I have no experience with other modern projectors but I'm loving this. Yes, it's huge but it has two giant fans (I think full size 120mm PC case fans) in the back that keep it cool and extremely quietly. The speakers actually are really great, way better than a comparably priced TV with the added benefit that they're going to be closer to you. I have an 80" screen and I can't get over how good it looks. Maybe not quite as good as an OLED but at least as good as your local movie house experience visually.

If anyone has any specific questions about this unit, I'm happy to provide answers.

Just got this projector. It's super quite, and I can barely hear the fans. The build-in speaker is way much better than my old one as well. I use the build-in speaker together with two small Sonos speakers. The only problem is the picture color, which isn't as nature as my old Epson 2045 1080p. I tried the calibration provided in projectorcentral but it didn't help. The colors still look a bit washed out. The firmware is already up-to-date. Do you need to calibrate yours? If so, what calibration settings do you use?

Just to report back in case others have the similar issue. It took me a while to figure that out that the color issue was caused by Apple TV's HDR setting. The default color in this projector is actually pretty good. After I changed Apple TV to SDR, everything looks great! When it directly projects onto the wall, the output is 140" and it feels really good. I tried one 120" screen but didn't notice any difference. Overall, I really like this projector, very quite, good clarity, and decent speakers.

Can you please share further feedback on this projector? I guess you have been using it for couple of months.

I still use it multiple times per week. Connected to my MacBook directly with HDMI and projected onto an 80" screen. The built in speakers are very loud. Lots of A/V ports on the unit to connect to even semi-pro systems. I bought it for an early xmas gift to myself and I'm still happy with the money I spent!
