Mixed, good price but on the other hand for $1500 you can get one not "scuffed" with a 5 year warranty. I am cautious with a TV this expensive and would probably go Costco.

I don't know for sure as I never bought one before, but we did have a few of these in the last, and i dont remember anyone have any issues as they mostly reported that inside tv's were all brand new, sealed, etc...

65 shows as $1699, though I hear a price adjustment coming, is it lower in warehouse?

But if it's scuffed, it probably means it was bumped, banged, etc so more of a chance of an issue. Plus if there is an issue much harder to return.

i would refer to their return policy. i also feel like there is no reason to assume that those bumps happened before your delivery, because if they get these by 50 or 100's... it's likely packaged much more securely, then when it's delivered as a 1 off to you.. but you decide Smilie

The description says brand new - unopened, 45 day return policy and full 1 year LG warranty. So its not refurb or recert. You can call them, but many times they will say scuffed or open box when it is below the MSRP levels or levels retailers can advertise according to contracts. I buy open-box/scuffed tools all the time. They are literally brand new.

I mean if its being shipped via UPS or FedEX they probably drive the pallet jack through it and throw it on your porch, but hey. I am sure they adhere to the right sign up label Smilie LoL that actually happened to me a number of times.

There have been a number of deals on TVs recently (and plenty of OLED) because it is an impulse purchase and many Americans tapped out, so maybe $1500 goes toward higher auto or home insurance rather than a TV.

My thinking if things are good now, they will be better for BF but that is a hunch on how the economy is going. So its just a guess, but I don't think we have seen the bottom.

Which option are you referring to ? Costco's not-scuffed 77 is 2600 at the moment. Can you get a 77" OLED for 1500 ?

When I bought a 65C7 from Beachcamera they left the box partially ripped open on its side (standing up 6 feet in the air) leaning on the front door.

No signature confirmation or anything.

Scuffed box indeed.
