I have the older model and it won't die. Used Daily. It's at least 5 years old. Well worth $99

The specialty coffee function is not espresso, but can make a meh latte in a pinch I guess.

I've yet to make a really "good" iced coffee from the ice function.

The normal classic drip is great. It's a melitta #4 and makes full bodied coffee. I have a v60, but I use my Ninja when I want something more traditional tasting. It does a consistent 205F and I've used it daily for years.

The whisk frother is neat for making cold foam from syrup and half and half. I use it to top cold brew (made in a different container).

We have the older version and it has really been a great coffee pot. The versatility is great. It won't make quite as much as a traditional coffee maker but its been perfect for us. The way it makes the coffee by letting it bloom for a moment is nice and results in good coffee every time. Also, the included measuring spoon helps you keep thins consistent once you find what you like.

I've had this machine for 3-4 years and it's been great. It doesn't have a solid feel to it, but there have been zero problems with it. The coffee it makes is pretty good. The specialty drinks are ok but we primarily use it as a drip coffee maker.

I have the older model and have had it for 7 years or so, still going strong. Still makes a great cup of coffee!

Highly recommend this model, have bought 2 of them and they are still going strong after 5 years.

Replaced our main one with a Ninja with a Nespresso pod combo (which died after 1 year)

I agree with others, the Ninja coffee makers make very nice tasting coffee. Mine is 5 years old and no issues. I love the flexibility of making a pot or single cup. My only complaint is the limited size options, but it looks like the newer model 12 cup has more options (like quarter carafe). I would be getting that one, though mine still works so I don't have a need yet to replace.
