Does something like Douk Audio ST-01 PRO 200W Bluetooth Amplifier work?
I also have my old Logitech Z-5500. Should I just use that or get this?
I had these speakers for...10 years I think. They've been around seemingly forever. Back then they didn't come with a sub so I added my own (sony 10 in). That said, they sound great. Very efficient and clean sound from these little guys. The speakers are very dense/heavy for their size so they don't feel cheap.
Here's an older review of just the speakers themselves: https://www.digitaltren
Recently I gave them and my old onkyo receiver to my friends college-aged son to make room for a samsung sound bar with surround rears, Q930. The wife was tired of the speaker wire running across the floor to the rears and my receiver was dying a slow death.
That said, fwiw, I don't miss them or my receiver. The sammy soundbar is impressive, with the center channel far clearer than what I ever got from my klipsch center. I don't regret buying the klipsch speakers. But with today's audio technology, I don't know if I would buy them again.
Lots of 2nd hand receivers for less than $100 on FB though
