The 3s is a budget version of the 3. From my understanding, it seems the 3S has the processing power of the 3 so you still get the exclusive games like the new Batman, but it has the display of the 2.

Quest 3s has the same optics (fresnel lens) like the Quest 2 but internal processing of the Quest 3. The Quest 3 has the better optics (pancake lenses). The Quest 3S has lower visuals, at a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels, and a pixel density of 773 (PPI, pixels-per-inch). The more expensive Quest 3 sports a resolution of 2064 x 2208, and a higher pixel density of 1218 PPI.

Correct. I have both the 2 and the 3, and I can tell you that the resolution and improved lenses are what I mainly notice as the differences between the two. The individual pixels are very visible with the lower resolution.

Thanks for posting this. Just bought one. $354.99 is a great price for a Quest 3. I know they are no longer making the quest 3 128gb - Only 512gb now but for this price its only 54.99 more than the 3S 128gb but has the better lenses. If your lookign to get a Quest 3 this is a much better deal than the Quest 3S.
