Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account. If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit.
Offer valid only on purchases made directly at US website alaskaair.com or through the U.S. Alaska Airlines app. Flights must originate in the U.S., including U.S. territories and purchases must be in U.S. dollars to qualify. Offer valid only for purchases where Alaska Airlines is the merchant of record, such as airfare, fare upgrades, seat selection fees and baggage fees. Excludes in flight spend, flights booked through third parties and electronic gift cards. Excludes hotel, car services, packages and travel insurance purchased through the Alaska Air website. Not valid on Alaska trips, Company store, uniform purchases, Alaska Lounge membership, Alaska Lounge merchandise and day passes, purchase of points/miles, Alaska Air Cargo, Corporate managed travel, Alaska Airlines Freight and Alaska Lounges/Boardrooms at various locations. You technically can buy a flight for over $200 then wait past the 24hr free cancellation period and cancel for credit.

No go on 200 certificate. Been a week and not triggered.

Commenter found details regarding this deal, excluded weekend traveling to/from Hawaii, Florida, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, maybe one or two more… ruined the plans I had to buy more tickets for upcoming Hawaii trip.
That's sad. Terms above say this so maybe it's different now…

It also says wait up to 90 days after 12/31/24 to see if you got the credit. In other words, half a year from now.
If you're gonna book a flight anyway then it seems like a worthwhile promo. I wouldn't go out of my way to fly them just to use it.
