Not trying to steer folks away from this deal, but yesterday I read about Costco shifting suppliers for their Kirkland brand coffee from Starbucks to Enveritas (the company that manufacturers Peet's). I'm going to pick up some next time, see if it's worthwhile/similar.

Thought I'd share since it seems like worthwhile information...

I love Peet's but I feel like I only see deals on here for their dark roasts.

That is good news. Peet's is much better than Starbucks!

Any word on when it will actually happen/transition from Starbucks to Peets?

Well, with their extreme anti-worker stance, removal of all the furniture that justified the ridiculous prices, apparent support for genocidal nations and more, there's little I can think of to "go long" with Starbucks anymore.

Now it's just clearly overpriced mediocre coffee often smothered with tons of sugar to mask the flavor, served up in large empty stores that seem to have all the charm of a low budget methadone clinic. Order on an app, grab your $7 drink and leave. Toilets are locked up too.

I'll dip in occasionally to check them out and do a $3 faux milkshake when sale is on (to burn up my gift cards), but the new Starbucks vibe just seems gross. They used that sweet Wall Street cash to buy up several great coffee shops in the area and either close them down or convert to just another Starbucks across from a Starbucks. I curse some of those losses whenever I see the locations they closed.

Sounds like it already happened. The Enveritas logo is on the Kirkland brand bag too, which is kinda cool (they're a nonprofit that works towards sustainable coffee).

Could be an opportunity for better coffee and some nice savings too - fingers crossed!

Prefer Peet's over Lavazza.

This price sounds about right for Peet's coffee... Not sure why they sell it for 20 bucks a pound on their own website!
