Pretty limited use cases. If you try to use it in an impact driver it'll likely snap pretty quickly.

I've used this numerous times with an impact driver. I do have a cordless impact wrench for anything requiring a lot of torque, but for lighter use this has been fine. And yes, of course an impact-rated one makes sense if you want to be rougher on it.

Of course, if you're just spinning it at lower torques it'll be fine in an impact, but I edited my post to clarify.

Personally, I think these are a must have if you own an impact driver. I recommend getting a set that includes a 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". These adapters also work well with 1/4" hex drive multi- bit screwdrivers. It turns the screwdriver into a nut driver.
